During our camp with Makuki, we fully embraced imagination, creativity, and hands-on skills. The children decorated wooden boards according to their own ideas, tried working with plaster, and created original pieces that they then painted.
They also made their own accordion-style books, experimented with mixing colours, created simple drawings, and explored the fascinating art of working with wire. Each day brought a new material, technique, and opportunity to turn their own ideas into reality.
Of course, spending time outdoors was also an important part of the camp. ☀️ The children enjoyed various sports and movement games and took their creativity outside as well, drawing colourful pictures with chalk.
At the end of the camp, we brought all the little and big works of art together in an exhibition for the parents, where the children could proudly show what they had created during the camp. ❤️
