Last week at camp, we went on an adventure full of nature, movement, and new experiences.
At the Eco Park in Piešťany, we met guinea pigs, goats, llamas, otters, and even some “dangerous” guinea fowl. We also played games and learned the basics of first aid.
At the Bee Garden in Smolenice, we discovered the world of bees, tasted different sweet treats, and made our own beeswax candles. Back at school, we also learned about fire safety and campfires.
On Wednesday, we visited the ruins of Katarínka Monastery and even explored the underground crypt. We also played games and rescued a bored little mole named Jozef.
On Thursday, we explored the historic centre of Trnava, climbed 143 steps to the top of the Town Tower, and enjoyed a beautiful view. We ended the day with ice cream, tent-building, and the classic camp treat S’mores.
Our final day was all about the camp Olympics and a visit to the laser arena, where we tested our speed and accuracy.
During the week, we walked more than 80,000 steps and gained lots of new knowledge, experiences, and memories. It was an adventure we won’t soon forget!
