During the camp, the children created their own companies – coming up with a name, slogan, logo, products and marketing materials while learning the basics of marketing, sales and pricing.
We had 8 original companies – from popcorn, lemonade and smoothies to jewellery, mystery boxes and fun games.
On Thursday, the children experienced real sales with real money, and on Friday they evaluated their results, customer feedback and profits. They learned that successful business is not only about making money, but also about quality, satisfied customers and learning from mistakes.
The most successful company was LIMOSH, which received the best customer feedback.
The children gained plenty of practical skills – from teamwork and creativity to the basics of marketing and financial literacy. And, of course, they all received a certificate of successful completion of the camp!
