This summer camp was a dream come true for all little builders and explorers! The children immersed themselves in creating their own underwater world out of LEGO – from colorful coral reefs and diverse sea creatures to research stations and various types of transport. They even designed a coastal town to complete the story of their ocean adventure.
Their creations came to life thanks to programmable LEGO WeDo and SPIKE components – fish were swimming, submarines moving, and the entire world suddenly felt alive.
They drew additional inspiration outside the camp through visits to Haus des Meeres in Vienna and the Natural History Museum in Bratislava, where they learned fascinating facts about marine life.
To wrap it all up, each team created a short animated story using the Stop Motion app, resulting in a shared video that captured their unique LEGO world.
Beyond building, the kids enjoyed plenty of outdoor fun, played Minecraft, crafted their own “fossils” from modeling clay, and tested their reflexes with a LEGO reaction game.
It was a week full of imagination, teamwork, and unforgettable experiences!
