When children are given the space to pursue their interests, amazing things happen!

The beginning of June at our school was dedicated to the presentation of our annual projects. Our students proudly showcased the results of their year-long work to parents, teachers, and classmates – and there was certainly plenty to admire!

Over the course of two intensive days, we:
- explored the mysteries of the universe and the physics of flight,
- discovered the history of flags and tasted sushi,
- listened to a report on speedway racing and gathered tips for family travel,
- learned how Lion’s Mane mushrooms are cultivated.

We even had a real ant farm “grow” in our classroom 🐜, celebrated the launch of new books 📚, introduced a brand-new website, and, of course, talked a lot about dogs 🐕.

Beautiful projects with an even more beautiful message

After their presentations, the students sold their books and handmade products. They decided to donate all proceeds to causes that truly need support:
- Plamienok, a non-profit organisation
- The Peaceful Old Age Home in Cífer
- The Dog Shelter in Trnava

The greatest experience, however, was not just the topics themselves, but the tremendous enthusiasm with which the children spoke about them. Their curiosity, determination, and joy of discovery captivated not only their classmates, but the adults as well.

A huge round of applause goes to all our students for their courage, perseverance, and the outstanding work they have done. Once again, they showed us that learning is most meaningful when it stems from intrinsic motivation and the pure joy of discovering something new.
