This year, Earth Day was not only about nature, but also about collaboration among students. The key element was peer learning – students teaching students.
Pupils of Y9 prepared activities for fourth graders – including movement, creativity, and logical thinking.
Selected pupils of Y6 and Y7 created activity stations for pupils of Y3 and Y1.
In addition, students experienced:
-an environmental escape room
-a visit to the school canteen
-a discussion on nutrition and sustainability
-hands-on eco workshops
A day full of experiences showed that learning can happen differently – together, actively, and meaningfully.
