Slovak students to move through to the First LEGO League World Festival in the USA again!

Slovak students aged 9-16 took part in the international First LEGO League tournament which consist of four equal parts; Robot Game, Robot Design, Research Presentation and Team Work, for the 9th time.  90 teams registered for this year regional tournaments, the best moving through to the Central European rounds organized by Hands on Technology to compete among 955 teams. 127 winning teams competed in 7 semifinal rounds; 24 best teams met in FLL Central European Finals 2016/2017 in Regensburg on 3rd and 4th March

Our second team, IT-PRO-BESST from Trnava did an exceptionally good job as well. The team won 4th place in the most-watched category, Robot Design and 10th place overall. Coaches Rastislav Rehák and Nina Sýkorová were both thrilled and disappointed: “Congratulations to Talentum SAP team and their success; we wish them good luck in representing Slovakia in the US tournament. As for this tournament, it is difficult to comment on our success yet as we are both happy and sad with the results. We have to commend the execution of the tournament; the atmosphere was amazing and we loved the space.  It has been an extraordinary experience. We would like to thank each and every team member, we are so proud of them and their achievements. Special thanks go to parents of our team members, our partners, and the school. We would not be able to get so far without their help.”
